Big Guava Festival Sizzles In Tampa

Tampa’s Big Guava Festival delivered two days of musical fun Friday and Saturday at the Florida State Fairgrounds.

With both indoor and outdoor stages, as well as a headlining amphitheater, music could be found all around.
Tall palm trees gave the perfect tropical ambiance for the hot hot Friday and Saturday, with temperatures well into the muggy 90’s.

There were food trucks galore, carnival rides, and merchandise stands abound. Something for fans looking to instantly catch an energetic set, or a lemonade breather in the shade somewhere.

Friday’s festivities included bands such as Pretty Lights, X Ambassadors, Passion Pit, Jenny Lewis, and Awolnation, to name a few.

Saturday closed out the festival with big names like Run The Jewels, TV On The Radio, Hozier, The Strokes, Reptar, Cold War Kids, and Death From Above 1979.

With another successful year of Big Guava’s happening festival in the books, and the clean up underway, it’s certain that Tampa residents and festival goers are excited to see what 2016 has in store.
