The Motor City’s 6th Annual Nirvana Tribute made a stop this Saturday at the New Dodge Lounge in Hamtramck.

Each year, local favorites gather to pay tribute to the legendary Seattle band.

Under dim lights, the venue set a perfect vibe for the rocking evening.

The event also played host to an extensive rock ‘n’ rummage collection of memorabilia and music.

Tribute bands included solo artist Will P., Desolation Angels, Mr. Purps and the Absinthe Minded, as well as Fucking Swords and Fire. The talented ensemble churned out plenty of Nirvana hits, fan favorites, and deep cuts that spanned the band’s short, but amazing discography.
