Bright Eyes Are Here For 2020!

Literally at the EXACT moment I was playing “Road To Joy” for my favorite fellow (kismet, perhaps?), an email matriculated to my account, announcing the greatest news I’ve heard all week.

Bright Eyes are back together!

Our musical heroes, Conor Oberst, Mike Mogis, and Nathaniel Walcott are once again united as a Bright Eyes front. It’s now been nine years since the release of their last LP, The People’s Key. Since, Bright Eyes’ members have separately and together shared their talents with the likes of First Aid Kit, as well as toward the creation of several movie scores (we’ve all heard the greatness of “The Fault In Our Stars”). Conor Oberst has kept busy with undeniably remarkable solo projects, and most recently, an incredible debut album with Better Oblivion Community Center.

Bright Eyes’ resurrection is a welcome voice for our times, and for the music world as a whole. As of late 2019, the band is signed with Dead Oceans, and new material is in the works.

Thus far, five tour stops have been announced, and according to Bright Eyes, more news is soon to come!

One thing is for certain, fans will be keeping their ears to the ground for that story in the soil.
