Billie Eilish Wins Top Four Grammys At Tonight’s Ceremony
Billie Eilish is walking away from tonight’s Grammy Awards ceremony with an impressive five golden gramophone trophies. Her wins include Album Of The Year, Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Pop Vocal Album, and the coveted Best New Artist.
Billie is the youngest person to be nominated in the four major categories, being 17 at the time of nomination announcements. The talented 18 year old has made waves with her debut album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?. Its tremendous single, “Bad Guy” has been an inescapable chart-topping success. She also made history by becoming the first woman to win all four major Grammy categories in one night.
Her style, story and its subsequent music has captured hearts, minds, and headphones of folks all around the world. Some of her famous fans include Thom Yorke, Miguel, and Justin Beiber, just to name a small few.
The album was crafted with her brother Finneas in his bedroom at their parents’ Los Angeles home. Finneas also nabbed an award for Producer Of The Year, acknowledging his collaborative hand in the album. When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? touches on profound human experience, endless emotion, darkness, and the state of our world. While capturing moments, sounds and experiences from every day life, Billie Eilish and Finneas showcased true songwriting at its finest core.
It’s no wonder the Recording Academy took notice.
