Pixies & Modest Mouse Kick Off Co-Headline Tour

Indie rock giants Pixies and Modest Mouse have embarked on a nationwide tour that will have a special stop in Michigan on June 18th. Pixies and Modest Mouse are also joined by special guest, Cat Power.

Pixies unmistakable sound is still going strong, decades into their influential career that began in 1986. Their most recent releases include 2022’s album Doggerel and this year’s Pixies at the BBC, 1988-91. Their exceptional live album showcases session stops at the iconic BBC station throughout a three year span.
Most recently, Modest Mouse released their highly anticipated new album, The Golden Casket in 2021.
No stranger to covers, Cat Power’s latest release, Cat Power Sings Dylan: The 1966 Royal Albert Hall Concert hit the airwaves last November.

The same lineup of Pixies, Modest Mouse and Cat Power concluded a nationwide sold-out tour last September. The newest encore rendition of the tour kicks off tonight (May 31st) in Charleston, South Carolina at the Firefly Distillery, and will wrap up on June 30th in Denver, Colorado at Fiddler’s Green. Pixies, Modest Mouse and Cat Power will be appearing at the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill in Sterling Heights, MI on June 18th.
