Chill On The Hill Rocks The Motor City
Sterling Heights’ Chill On The Hill festival wrapped up it’s music-filled weekend Sunday at Freedom Hill Amphitheatre.
Saturday’s festival found the likes of Weezer, Arkells and Panic! At The Disco, while Sunday’s top acts included Cage The Elephant, Coheed and Cambria, X Ambassadors, Cold War Kids, Detroit’s own Dale Earndhardt Jr. Jr. and Robert DeLong.
The festival, presented by 89X, certainly did not fail to deliver an evening of good old fashioned rock ‘n roll.
Festival-goers could find games, good eats, sporadic meet and greets, as well as scheduled silent discos: fans dancing whilst headphone clad, while favorite musicians DJ’d tracks from a stage.
Stage fronts were packed with fans, while the main amphitheatre echoed with music and cheers.
With an excellent turnout, and some of the most energetic bands out there, Chill On The Hill certainly did not fail to yield a great time.
