J LyriKal Readies For Radio Play

Local hip hop MC, J LyriKal is primed to break on through to the big time.

Detroiter Jeff Mallison has been grinding away and putting in work as an artist for years, and is finally starting to make waves.
Born with a speech impediment, Jeff discovered a positive outlet to cope through music, finding he could  spit intricate lyrics without a hitch in front of any audience.
Through powerful performances and a series of mixtapes, J LyriKal (formerly known as MC Fox) is gaining a reputation as a confident performer with an ear for making great music.

The talented MC appeared this past Friday the 13th at Airway Lanes’ event – Crystal Lake Blood Bath in Waterford, and subsequently at Fountains of Clarkston.

With empowering lyrics about persevering and conquering all, J LyriKal’s single, “All I Ever Needed” is hitting radio stations nationwide this holiday season. Produced by Detroit native, Tony “56” Jackson, J LyriKal is sticking to his roots, and ready to make Detroit proud.
